High index 1.67 Progressive Lenses work really well for people with strong perscriptions because they drastically reduce the weight and thickness of the lens. Their thinness allows them to work really well with drill-mount frames, or frames that connect the lenses directly to the tempal arms. Of note is that high index lenses are much more reflective than other lens types. In order to help with this, we include a free anti-reflective coating because we want you to love these lenses as much as we love you. We also throw in a free anti-scratch coating on all of our lenses and these lenses will protect your eyes from UVA and UVB rays.

Options for These Lenses
People seem to like to order clear lenses and add one of our tints, which is perfect for sunglasses or fashion. Just know that High Index lenses don’t tint as dark as our other lens materials. Another option is to make these lenses photochromic, which means that they are clear indoors and are darkened when you go outside in the sun.
