High index 1.67 Single Vision lenses can be great for stronger prescriptions because they’re thin and light instead of thick and bulky. These lenses provide nice, sharp optics and a super thin appearance, and they work well for drill-mount frames when the prescription is too strong for Polycarbonate or Trivex. You’ll find that high index lenses are much more reflective than standard lenses, so we provide an anti-reflective coating to these lenses for free because you’re special to us and we want you to know it. Our High Index lenses protect from UVA and UVB rays and we also add a free anti-scratch coating before we ship them back to you, for the win.

Options for These Lenses
High Index 1.67 Single Vision lenses can be purchased in clear or photochromic, which are clear indoors and darken like sunglasses in the sun. If you choose clear lenses, you also have the option to tint them in a wide range of colors for sunglasses or fashion. Just note that high index lenses do not tint as dark as some other lens materials.
